FZ Sylomer® Anti-Vibration Mounts
The FZ Sylomer® range is a family of heavy-duty anti-vibration mounts designed for equipment installed on vehicles, off-road machinery, and industrial plant subject to shocks and continuous vibration. Each mount combines an oil-resistant Sylomer® polyurethane compound with a dual-component steel housing featuring interlocking metal parts — providing robust shock protection and fail-safe performance across 15 load variants from 15 kg to 2,000 kg.
Construction
- Outer metal armour with four fixation holes for bolting to the equipment base or vehicle chassis
- Interior machined metal ring transmits the equipment load through the Sylomer® element to the outer armour
- The internal ring diameter is larger than the outer armour interior — this geometry creates the fail-safe mechanism: under extreme shock or overload, the metal components interlock before the elastomer can be destroyed
- Anti-corrosive treatment applied to all metal components for outdoor and harsh environment use
Material Properties
- Oil-resistant Sylomer® polyurethane compound — resists hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, and fuel splashing common in vehicle and machinery environments
- Operating temperature range: −30°C to +70°C
- Suitable for static applications with significant dynamic shock loading
