Akustik + Sylomer® WF

The Akustik WF is a wall-mounted suspension isolator for equipment that hangs from or bears against a wall — loudspeakers, fan coil units, electrical panels, standpipes, and lightweight ductwork. The robust metal frame with Sylomer® elastic element decouples the equipment from the wall, preventing mid and high-frequency vibration from transmitting into the building structure as audible noise.

How It Works

  • Each WF mount consists of a robust steel bracket with a calibrated Sylomer® pad that sits between the equipment and the wall
  • The Sylomer® element absorbs mid and high-frequency vibrations at the point of attachment — preventing transmission into the wall and the wider building structure
  • The steel housing provides fail-safe overload protection — the equipment cannot drop beyond the metal stop even under extreme loading
  • Compatible with 4mm and 5mm plate thickness; can be customised in shape, size, and material density for specific applications

Installation Requirements

  • Maximum 60 kg total load across four WF mounts
  • Maximum 30 cm separation of the centre of gravity from the wall
  • Minimum 20 cm vertical separation between WF mounts
  • Threaded connections: M6 or M8 depending on variant
