Akustik Pipe Omega + Sylomer®
The Akustik Pipe Omega is a compact vibration isolation clamp consisting of a Sylomer® microcellular polyurethane element enclosed in a galvanised steel omega-profile housing. Designed to acoustically decouple rigid and flexible pipework from supporting structures — preventing structure-borne noise transmission across both static and dynamic load conditions.
How It Works
- Sylomer® element sits within the omega-profile steel housing, clamping around the pipe
- Preload is set by the distance the Sylomer® element extends beyond the housing — bolt is tightened until firm base contact is achieved
- Single fastening hole allows quick installation and removal of the Sylomer® element without disturbing the pipework
- The steel housing acts as a fail-safe — limiting deflection under shock or overload conditions
- Multidirectional isolation absorbs vibration in vertical, horizontal, and lateral axes simultaneously
