Akustik-fit
Akustik-fit is a range of anti-vibration mounts purpose-engineered for gymnasium and fitness equipment. Each variant is designed around the specific load profile and movement characteristics of gym machinery — treadmills, weight training equipment, and cardio machines — providing effective vibration isolation without requiring periodic maintenance or adjustment.
The Challenge
- Treadmills and cardio equipment generate continuous impact at blade-passing and footstrike frequencies — typically 1–5 Hz for running cadence and higher harmonics from motor and belt
- Weight training machines produce short, high-amplitude impulses when weights are dropped or set down — a very different load profile from steady-state machinery
- Front and rear feet of the same machine carry different loads — a single mount rated for the total equipment weight will be incorrectly loaded at each foot
- Generic anti-vibration pads compress and bottom-out over time in gym environments, losing isolation performance without any visible indication
How Akustik-fit Solves This
- Each variant is rated for the specific foot position — separate front and rear ratings for GYM T4 account for the weight distribution of the equipment
- Adjustable stiffness allows fine-tuning on site to match the actual installed load
- Maintenance-free design — no re-tensioning, replacement, or inspection schedule required
- Easy to install — retrofittable under existing equipment without moving it off position
Typical Applications
- Treadmills in commercial and corporate gyms above occupied floors
- Weight training and bodybuilding machines in multi-storey fitness facilities
- Cardio equipment floors in hotels, residential buildings, and offices
- Specialist applications available on consultation
Variants
- GYM T4 Rear (code 157152) — maximum load 140 kg · for rear foot position
- GYM T4 Front (code 157153) — maximum load 230 kg · for front foot position
Why Front and Rear Are Different
- Treadmills carry more load at the front due to the motor, display console, and the forward weight bias of running users
- Using the correct variant at each position ensures the Sylomer® element operates at its design stress — maximising isolation performance and service life
Typical Applications
- Commercial and hotel treadmills in multi-storey buildings
- High-use corporate gym treadmill installations
- Treadmills above noise-sensitive occupied spaces

Typical Applications
- Lighter cardio machines — exercise bikes, cross-trainers, and rowing machines
- Bodybuilding and cable machines with lower self-weight
- Gym equipment in residential buildings and boutique fitness studios
